Cowboy Butter Lobster Tails Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 lobster tails
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional, for extra heat
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the Lobster Tails: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Using kitchen shears, cut down the top of the lobster shells lengthwise. Pull the shells apart slightly to expose the meat. Gently lift the lobster meat, keeping it attached at the end, and lay it on top of the shell.
- Make Cowboy Butter: In a bowl, combine the melted butter, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and chopped parsley. Mix well.
- Season the Lobster Tails: Brush the lobster meat generously with the cowboy butter mixture. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Bake the Lobster Tails: Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
- Serve: Serve the Cowboy Butter Lobster Tails with additional cowboy butter on the side and lemon wedges. Enjoy!
