When the kids got home from school they said what is that delicious smell? This dish will make your home smell heavenly!
My kids love corn and I figured they would love this creamed corn in the crock pot. I love making things in the crock pot, or slow cooker as I usually call it. I work from home so I smell the evening meal cooking all day and when the kids come home from school they love the lovely aroma of food cooking! When they walk in they know something delicious is brewing! They usually ask what’s for dinner right away!
This was easy to make. Only took a few ingredients which I already had on hand! I love making things with simple ingredients that I have in the pantry. I don’t like having to buy a spice or ingredient for a particular recipe and never using it again. If it’s uncommon I forget about it and it just sits there until it expires and that’s such a waste.
I added a pic below of how your crock post should look when you turn this on to cook. Do not stir in the butter or cream cheese until it cooks for 2-3 hours. It tuns out really well when you make it this way.
We enjoyed this with Baked Brown Sugar Spiced Chicken and it was amazing! Corn and chicken always go so well together. Everyone loved it and I will definitely be making this again. It would also be great at Christmas or another holiday and this recipe can easily be doubled to make enough for a crowd. This will be a hit at any family gathering.

Sounds delicious! Can’t wait to try it. However, (I’ve learned to not make assumptions.), for 12 servings, would I be correct in simply doubling the recipe for 6?
Vida Recipes says
It would be plenty for 12 people 🙂
It’s fine to double it
